DESCRIPTION

This ensemble showcases a control I made called the \"Newtonian Bouncer\". A modulation source using the forces of gravity to control your instruments.

The controller is similar to the \"Bouncer\" by ~s0|_-\Rx~, but here you have control over all sorts of things to change the physics of the world the ball bounces around in. Gravity, an invisible sun (!), friction, the bouncy-ness of the walls, etc.

Also has trigger outs that fire whenever a wall gets hit by the ball (one trigger for each wall). The ensemble itself was just whipped together to make some noise and show off the controller.

I don\'t know if the control is all that useful musically, but it\'s a lot of fun to play with! It can also be endlessly chaotic in a way that is tied to the laws of the physical world, and, as such, sounds cool when modulating atmospheric sounds - more \"natural\", in my opinion, than a completely random source. I tried to make a simple ensemble that can do some good examples of this. It\'s also (in my opinion) very well commented throughout.Instructions:Go through each preset, pressing the \"Fire!\" button on the \"Cannon\" to get an idea of what the ball can do with each setting. Included is a frighteningly long readme file that tells you everything you could want to know about the unit.

It\'s my first posting here, so suggestions are welcome.
- Enjoy!

I entirely agree with Kristian. beautiful work Chris.

Very Cool ! .. Perhaps the wall trigger outs could actually fire some other sound generators within the ensemble itself so that one hears all bounces, including those off the wall and "ceiling".

This is one of the ensembles that fall into the "blew my mind" category for me, like Heishere and SteamPipe2D before it. I'd say it's a classic, and a classic should get 10/10. I should have written this comment a long time ago...
