Lost Solfegio Frequencies
Reaktor 5 Ensemble based on "The Lost Solfeggio Frequencies"
DESCRIPTION
Solfeg Tones V1.3
Bad link should be fixed now... sorry, I come from a *nix world and double dots are ok there :-)
I attended a concert recently that had some works based around "The Lost Solfeggio Tones". I did some reading to find out more about these lost tones and found some interesting stuff. I am uncertain of how much science this is actually based on, but I thought I would build a Reaktor ensemble to try them out. Here is a link to an article that I found interesting that you can read and decide for yourself:

Another purpose for this ensemble was for me to learn how to create some stuff in Reaktor on my own. As such, any comments and constructive criticism is welcome.
This ensemble was originally designed for me to use with my Axiom61 and have the sounds triggered by the pads. A such, the tones were triggered via Midi Channel 10 C0-F0. I have updated this so they can be triggered using the computer keyboard as well as via MIDI and they now respond to any channel notes C3-A3. You can adjust this by changing the receive channel for the instrument (Reaktor default is channel 1) and going into the Sel. Gate properties for each tone macro (UT-396, RE-417, etc) and adjusting the note number accordingly.
Features:
1) 6 tones which correspond to "The Lost Solfeggio Frequencies"
UT – 396 Hz
RE – 417 Hz
MI – 528 Hz
FA – 639 Hz
SOL – 741 Hz
LA – 852 Hz
2) Each of the 6 tones can select one of 4 wave forms:
Sine
Pulse
Saw
Triangle
3) A couple of effects that I think work well that I borrowed from Chet Singer's excellent Ampere V11 collection.
4) Amp Envelope, Amp-LFO, and Waveshaper.
Changes:
UI - is now much cleaner :-)
The original effects have been replaced by an effects processing unit that I feel works better with these tones. Wave shaper has been added as well as an Amp-LFO.
Known Issues:
My own newbieness when it comes to creating Reaktor Ensembles. There are some helpful user created tutorials out there, and for those I am greatful!
I do not know if I have actually programmed the frequencies correctly. I think I have, but I am looking for guidance here. This ensemble now uses much more CPU (about 25-46% of one thread of one core's on my system). there may be some better ways for me to do things. Specifically the ADSR controls - and I may have been able to do this with fewer oscillators. If anyone can coach me through some of that it would be appreciated.
Like I said above constructive criticism is welcomed and will help me get better!
