Reaktor 5 or lower
Instrument Sequencer

DESCRIPTION

This is a Scene sequencer for Twisted Tools UltraLoop ens
It has variable step lengths.ie it plays scene 1. 3 times and then plays scene 6. 2 times…etc
It is an Instrument file, just drop it in the first edit layer and connect via properties to internal UL.(just like another seq)
Experiment & Enjoy

To adjust seq length : use the length control below root note control. If your interested in modding UL,There was a thread for it in the forum, but i fear the links are dead, post and i'll reply, although its been a while since i did all that-rusty brain will need some wd40!

Hi Michael I just saw your previous post today. What I mean is that the sequencer should be bound to Lives song position. If you load the reaktor instrument Aerobic it start its sequence according to the song position. Live usually starts at song position 1.1.1 (using session view) unless it is set to start at some other postion. Your Sequencer somehow only resets (start from the first set step/ e.g. Scene 1) when I have pressed the stop button in Live (resets to song position 1.1.1) which is different than stopping with the space bar which will just restart Live from the set song position. If not reset or if I change the song position in Live your seq will just play on from where it stops (e.g. scene 4) which is not a desired behavior since Live is starting from the beginning (or some other song position) I hope this makes some kind of sense.

I've fixed it not reseting when "reset to start but still playing" is done on logic as a plug in. I would be very grateful if someone could confirm that all is well within abletonlive. thanks mike

Glad you like the ens, I don't have Live so i can't test it.What do you mean by "normal stop".I've just looked at it in logic and i noticed if you reset to start while playing it doesn't seam to reset, but does when stopped. This is the only thing i can think that you mean.I will look into this and try to get a fix soon(busy at the mo) thanks for the heads up.

This is great and a very nice add-on to UltraLoop. I really like that you made the same GUI design as UL. When using this in Ableton Live the clock is not reset at normal stop, only when pressing stop in Live the Seq is reset. UL resets to start of song position at normal stop so I'd love to see a fix for this. Thanks

including UltraLoop in the picture was just to show it in action. The last thing I want is to upset TT.

Sorry, because of the picture I assume you had included aspects of UltraLoop, my apologies for my previous comment ;)

Do you have permission from Twisted Tools to post this? If not, you should take it down. Immediately.

I don't own UltraLoop and test ist on MicroPrism. The MIDI tick is really short. For myself I connect t'stp to hold for a longer MIDI on. Thanks 10 points for your instrument.

When I get back to using Ultraloop, this should come in very handy. I love the subtle 'countdown to next bar' thing. Thank you!
