DESCRIPTION

SOOG is an analogue style octaver effect for monophonic signals.

The effect produces a fuzzy version of the input signal, by generating a modulated square wave one octave below the tracked pitch. This fuzzy octave can then be filtered to smooth out the tone, or to create synth style sounds.

The effect works best on monophonic instruments with strong fundamental frequencies like bass guitars or clear vocals, but you'll get cool results from drums and noisy signals too.

Version 2 includes:
- better and more robust tracking
- pitch tracking for the filter cutoff
- updated graphics
- updated sound

Version 1 is also included in the download.

Love this ensemble for my main guitar distortion. Very Mellowdrone-esque, mid-range distortion. Love it.
