DESCRIPTION

CircleScratch is a simple loop recorder and scratcher. Record up to 4 bars of data using the 'Record' button (bet you didn't see that one coming!)

Using the area where the recorded sound is visible you can scratch by clicking and dragging with your mouse.

I am looking for any type of suggestion you may have to improve this ensemble, please post any suggestions to the comments.

Exactly what I needed. A simple scratcher for post. guy on screen is scratching...I just flew in my stem and scratched away in sync. magic. thanks! you saved my bacon.

This is a really cool idea. Thank you! I do have suggestion: to have a soft-touch or "finger pressure" controls that determine the speed at which the finger/pointer "grabs" (and releases) the spin. (grab and release dials?) - in milliseconds. Also to automate the spin - perhaps with either angular position (could be tricky when it goes past 360) or +/- spin speed (where 0 = the natural rotation of the disk)... will post comment to youtube too.

@ng mui, youtube might be better since they actually bother to let me know when somebody comments. but i'll end up reading them either way. i'm looking into several methods for automation or MIDI control.

I could imagine using your "massive-style modulation ring", you have a tutorial about, as controls for this one, maybe adding modulation as well, so many possibilities with this ensemble, I'm intrigued,... ok to post ideas here, as you mention in the video, or where do you read them most likely?
