Rhythmicizes and thrashes samples beyond recognizability.
Instructions on panel.
In a nutshell: Randomize (press Q), play (big XY pad), randomize, play, over and over, until the Gods of Chance grant you something worth listening to.

New to Reaktor here, so bear with me. How do I load my own samples into sample thrasher? I love what this thing is doing, and I can only imagine the possibilities! Thanks!

orsum - i spent most of the evening just opening a few beers and listening/sampling to mashed, glitched up random combinations of sounds thrown out by this ensemble instead of making music - think i might do the same tomorrow night

rick, this version works perfect and is very helpful. thank you so much! again i replaced freshmaker with a mod capable of longer recordings. with live audio it would keep both hands free for playing an instrument :)

I uploaded a version with a Freshmaker connected to the X and Y of the big XY pad: http://rachmiel.org/xfer/sampleThrasher_autoXY.zip It's a quick and uggily fix ... to get the big XY NOT automated by Freshmaker (rather by user XY playing) you need to delete the connections. Should be easy to put in an on/off toggle switch for doing this, so you can easily switch between Freshmaker and manual modes.

Jan, problem is that the Mouse Area module (which is what I use to enable the big XY to be played) is not automatable. But, since I'm not using Mouse Area to do anything very fancy, I could probably replace it with a simple XY, which IS automatable. It's on my to-do list, along with making a sampleThrasher version for live audio. Thanks for the suggestion!

can't leave it :) but failed to automate the main xy-pad with freshmaker/assignable fader (instead of all the smaller ones separately). could not find where to send the ic. please, can you explain if and how this would be possible? thank you!

It's always a pleasure to use and explore your creations. I'm particularly impressed here by the cleanliness of the processing/randomization. So smooth!
