Berklee College of Music

Founded in 1945, Berklee College of Music is the world's largest independent music college and the premier institution for the study of contemporary music. The list of alumi reads like a "Who is who" of the music industry. Notable names such as Quincy Jones, Howard Shore, Jan Hammer and Aimee Mann are all graduates.

Native Instruments is a founding partner in the innovative Major Bundle Program at Berklee College of Music. Students who enter "tech-heavy majors" are required to purchase an additional "Major Bundle" - a selective collection of hardware and software tools relevant to their chosen curriculum. This program has been running since the fall of 2003. The Music Synthesis Major Bundle includes Komplete 4. (Three departments - Filmscoring, Songwriting, and Contemporary Writing and Production include Kontakt in their Bundles and Music Education includes Bandstand. Since the start of this program over 2400 students have studied Native Instruments products.

London College of Music

Native Instruments has equipped 166 seats with KORE and KOMPLETE 4 at the London College of Music (a faculty of Thames Valley University) - the UK's largest music technology facility. This partnership will allow hundreds of students annually to extend their abilities at "State of the art" music workstations and the thus meet the requirements of contemporary music production.

SAE Institute

SAE Institute has been training future leaders in creative media for over 30 years. SAE is a worldwide network of more than 40 colleges in 20 countries offering qualification which have become a worldwide standard for the media industries. Students have the opportunity to train on professional state-of-the-art equipment in courses covering Audio Engineering, Digital Film, Web Design & Web Development and Games. Point Blank

Point Blank has been voted “Best Music Production & DJ School” for the last six consecutive years. Why? Well, the school prides itself on small classes and personalised teaching from music industry pro’s. Among the teaching staff are Grammy winners and songwriters with record sales in the millions. Plus producers and remixers who have worked alongside the likes of Bjork, Massive Attack, New Order, Leftfield, Portishead and many others.

The college was the first in the world to be recognised as an approved training centre for Native Instruments and software including Battery, Kontakt and Reaktor remain an integral part of their music production and sound design courses. Tutor Danny J Lewis has recorded and remixed for labels including Defected, Ministry of Sound and XL Recordings and gives students personal feedback on their music throughout. Danny explains, “NI’s software has huge creative potential and so the courses demonstrate how professional producers achieve certain sounds or effects, but also how students can explore and develop their own unique approach.”
