This setup shows the AUDIO 8 DJ used with a MIDI controller and external mixer to control the software.
This is the classic DJ setup: A computer running TRAKTOR SCRATCH is connected to the AUDIO 8 DJ via USB. Two vinyl decks are connected to the AUDIO 8 DJ and to an external DJ mixer. The decks can be switched from controlling software to playing records via the Input Mode switch on the AUDIO 8 DJ.
In this set-up the computer running TRAKTOR SCRATCH is connected to the AUDIO 8 DJ via USB. The ouputs of the AUDIO 8 DJ are connected to the channel inputs of the mixer. The two vinyl and two CD decks are connected to the inputs of the AUDIO 8 DJ and to the mixer and can be switched between controling TRAKTOR and playing records and CDs. A microphone is connected to the Mic in of the AUDIO 8 DJ.
