When adding any amp to your rack, it will automatically be provided with a Matched Cabinet, which creates a setup we feel to be a good match. The Matched Cabinet module offers two different mic'ings possibilities that have been defined by sound specialists, as well as a harmonized speaker setup for every single amp. It's easy to use yet super-flexible, providing you with classic sounds in seconds. You can blend between two different microphones with different characteristics and define the air level of the microphone. Customize your guitar sound within seconds without having to become a professional audio engineer!
For the audio adventurer seeking to go beyond what is possible with analog gear, GUITAR RIG 4 PRO offers more sonic variety than ever before: The Cabinets & Mics module allows you to combine any cabinet type with any microphone and to tweak EQ, the position of the mic and the amount of "room" it picks up. Moreover, it allows you to set up parallel recording chains: Click on the small Add button to add as many independent signal paths as you like, with the same set of options and controls. This component models the standard guitar amp recording chain: cabinet, mic and mic position. Here you've got 17 guitar and 6 bass cabinets, nine microphones each with four to five mic positions at your disposal – all freely combinable.
