Q: Does iMASCHINE run on my first generation iPhone?
A: No, all iOS devices earlier than the iPhone 3GS and the iPod touch 3G didn't perform well due to memory and CPU limits.
Q: I'm a Verizon customer. Can I install the iMASCHINE on my iPhone 4?
A: Yes, you can. Please update your iPhone to iOS 5. iMASCHINE requires iOS 4.3 or above, the Verizon iPhone can’t be updated to iOS 4.3 but only directly to iOS 5.
Q: Can I run iMASCHINE on my iPad/iPad 2?
A: Yes. Please use the on-screen 2x button to enlarge iMASCHINE on your iPad's screen.
Q: Can I use my own samples in iMASCHINE? How does this work?
A: Yes, you can import your 44.1kHz, 16 bit WAV files using iTunes.

Q: Can I open MASCHINE projects with iMASCHINE?
A: No, MASCHINE projects contain information that cannot be used by the iMASCHINE app.
Q: How can I work on iMASCHINE projects in MASCHINE or other iOS devices?
A: You can export iMASCHINE projects via iTunes (check the tutorial video "Import/Export"
). Please note that the ZIP file exported by the iMASCHINE must not be changed in any way. These exported projects can be opened in MASCHINE or imported into another iOS device. For use in secondary iOS devices, make sure you have iMASCHINE and all sound expansions used in that project installed on the secondary device.
Q: I had to re-install the iMASCHINE from scratch. The expansions I purchased earlier aren't available anymore. Do I have to pay for them again?
A: No, you don't. Please use the In-App Store within the iMASCHINE to re-download your expansions.
Press the purchase button for an expansion you purchased before. iMASCHINE will ask for your iTunes login and communicate with the iTunes store. If you have purchased an item before, a message will open confirming this, and you can re-download the expansion for free.
If your family has multiple accounts, please make sure you use the login data you used to purchase the iMASCHINE and expansions.
