One thing, does the HP filter not work on this?

I've been enjoying your synth, but i've found that when a seq is imported,I find it works fine except when unison is switched on while in poly mode and it doesn't play from the seq,it still plays from a midi key but not from the seq(i've tied spiral and my own made seqs) Am i missing something which will enable this to work. can supply an example if you wish? would love to solve this as i like the synth. mike

Hi Stephan, By the way. Regarding CPU you are very low. E.g. Carbon2 uses 2-3 times as much as mercury. And E.g. Razor uses 5-10 time as much as Mercury. In my opinion you have lot's of headroom to work with. But i recognize you watch the efficiency. In my web programming i did the same. It's also about a felling of good craftsmanship and alike. However the bar for how much CPU power and the weight of things has been raised a lot in few years. That also gives room to other forms of quality. Thanks for everything. Best regards Lars

Hi Stephan, Thanks for reply. Sounds great. I am not a reaktor builder. I am rather new in this world. I have done some programming in multimedia and web. And i have used synths. Just so you know. I think you are well into building in reaktor and know a lot. That's why i suggest to you. Best regards Lars

Hi Lars, I also own a Juno 106 (real hardware). Right, you can't narrow the pulse until it gets silent on that one. Maybe the same way of PWM like on the Juno would be a good idea for this synth. Also I recognized that it could be useful to have independent LFO depths for pitch and PWM. The waveform on the hardware Juno for PWM is a triangle wave, definetly. I just checked. I'll change the oscillators for all LFO destinations to audio oscillators and use A to E-modules with higher control rate if necessary. This will also lead into better sounding results, but use some more CPU power.

Hi again Stephan, Lot's of comment by me. Sorry. An example om your Mercury. If you take a pulse. Try a rather low LFO rate, Turn the modwheel up. At a point the sound vanish. The fact that one have to use the modwheel to get PWM modulation controled by LFO i do not think is good. An option to use modwheel is okay. But another knop to control this i miss. If you have a roland like bender wheel or something alike where the wheel reset to zero by a spring when you release it, then you will have no lfo modulation when released. And the opportunity to use the whell to other realtime controls are no longer present. Also i want to ad, that i don't like to scroll either. it's a dilemma. And lot's of plug'ins in DAW's is actually hard to see. Some better than others. Maybe a design with more on top on each other in sone cases can do, Often there are lot's of empty space beneath e.g. a synth in the window. Why not use that. I know this can destroy the feel of a hardware synth. But maybe it will be more user friendly. Also you uses two pages in the Mercury. Spreading controls on pages can also be in a solution. This is suggestions. I am very thankfull for your contributions. Best regards Lars

Adding: Sorry Stephan, Subharmonic do not have LFO rate option. It has LFO range option.

Ran out of space so continue here. Last: I guess the speed/ rate of the LFO can cause clicks. Therefore the smoothness in controling the LFO can be important. Maybe some options to choose max LFO rate as in e.g. subharmonic to get the possibility to get smoother control in some ranges is an idea. Maybe just lower LFO max rate if high rate is not nessecerily - if you get my drift. I gues you can see what i mean with your eagle eyes ;-D Best regards Lars

Hi Stephan, Thanks for your reply. Regarding the PWM. Maybe this can explain it this way. I owned a Juno 106 once. And you have made a fine emulation of that one. Here is the link to the oldest one wich have the interface like the original hardware synth. The oldest of your versions i think. http://www.native-instruments.com/en/community/reaktor-user-library/entry/show/7281/ In the Juno synth if you set pwm to manual and move the PWM slider, then you change the pulse width in a fixed form. Importent here is also, that no matter how low or how high the PWM slider is, then the sound never vanish. The pulses never meet in a singularity so one of the fases fall out i guess- only almost if you get my drift. Then if you set the PWM to be controled by the LFO, then you can modulate the pulse width. If you move the LFO rate slider then the pulse width are being controled according to the the LFO rate. Again the sound never vanish. (If the sound vanish then there will come some clicks.) If you on the Juno turn the lfo up in high rates, then you will hear that it is not that smooth. There is some clicks. On the juno this is the only things causings some clicks, and maybe it's because the LFO rate run using a triangular waveform. It should be a sine as in the original hardware Juno. Also i believe that PWM originaly used sine wave mostly, if there was no choice options. The option to control the PWM with a sine waveform by the LFO, should in my opinion always be present.

Hi Lars, Thanks for the constructive ideas. Can describe more precisly what you mean with PWM? Or upload an example? About clicking when changing snaps, I didn't recognize that, I'll keep an eye on it. About the overall sound: I have some ideas how to improve, I'll impement them in the next version. The reason for the fixed panel size of all my instruments is the size of the Reaktor window in my DAW. For some reasons that I don't know it is limited and I hate to scroll, especially horizontally. Beside of that, my screen is big enough to see everthing clearly ;-)

Hi Stephan. Thank you very much for your many contributions. I have respekt for your work. I have some input's i hope you can use. As the possibility to report to author is lacking in this new beta version of the community library, then i write here. There are often some clicking for instance when changing snaps. Maybe a voltage issue. Don't know but it sound like it. I would prefer another approch to the PWM. It works to tricky. To me this is not really PWM but PWR for pulse with regulation. Modulation require better control by lfo controls. I like if it modulate without clicking. I think you like to save CPU. That's fine. But the sound maybe therefore get's a little thin and steril. That's good in some situations, but not to really emulate for instance a Virus synth. The sounds needs body to solve that task. Perhaps it cost more cpu power. Maybe that can be made as an option. Your GUI are great looking. But it would be nice if it was larger, It is to hard to see and read, I hope you find this konstructive and positive. That's my intention.
