Where is the S4 Manual?
I see posts about it cant be shared in the forum and you can find it on the site after logging in but as usual the NI sites its more about showing off which famous person is using NI products rather then good support for people who spend their money on it.
After moving to Traktor from a 2 year stint using Serato I have to say the customer care in no comparison. Yes the product will eventually be better for me and my DJing BUT getting there is hard work and I'm relying more on speaking to people I know and other websites to get good information and help. Anyway rather than this turning into anymore of a rant I'll get back to the issue at hand - Where can I get a PDf of the user manual (aside from the fileshare site I had to go to to get one) |
if you used the simple " search" function of the forum, or even google for that matter. you would have found it in less then 10 seconds.
Open traktor, click help on the top left, navigate to open manual/traktor s4/ |
It's also available to download as a PDF within NI Service Center.

If your windows: C:/program files/Native Instruments/Traktor 2/documentation/Traktor Kontrol S4/ or C:/program files/Native Instruments/Traktor S4/Documentation/. If you have Traktor 2 and/or Traktor pro S4 it should be in either one of those

I had an issue locating this as well. I had the mention of the manual in the start menu, but when I clicked it, windows would start searching in vein for it.
With that said, its also in one of the documentation folders on the install disc. Drag and drop onto your desktop, and import it to your android/iPhone. I printed all 200 pages of it, and put it in a three ring binder for quick reference. |
Hey CunningOne , put your setup in your signature, so we know what OS you have. If you have a mac, go to:
Applications folder->Native Instruments-> Traktor S4 for the controller's manual, or Traktor 2 for the Traktor software manual. The S4 manual is great because it has information specific to how the S4 works with the Traktor program. I read it often and pic up new information often. Hope this helps. |
