Mark The Octaves In The Piano Roll
Mark the octaves on the piano roll, I would like to know whether im in c3 or c4 when Im looking at the software...it has its advantages.
+1. Plus also knowing which one is C would be good. My brain gets confused translating the keyboard through 90 degrees
Has this been implemented yet?
a simple workaround for this is to manually mark with a pen the pads corresponding to black notes (first pad must be always first note)
the ink can be easily cleaned.
I think you've got the wrong end of the stick about what they mean. They're talking about the notes on the keyboard in the software.
Not to mention that, in my opinion, you idea is awful.
thanks for the explanation. now i understand what means. black notes in software ... +1! also, would be nice to highlight in software the actual range of notes that maschine hardware is playing.
ps: please do not paint your computer screen.
Think I (and others) asked for this here a while back so yes... +1!
It would actually be really easy to implement this. Just make each octave a different color. The C-notes would be marked by the color changes. I'm sure someone on the NI team would scream holy hell about messing with Maschine's color scheme, but function over form I say.
