Shuffle playback keeps playing same track ...

is there any way of adjusting the "randomness" of the shuffle playlist feature?
Listening to a playlist at the moment and less than 20 tracks in it's played one song 3 times and another one twice ....

I guess that's real random and I want a bit less randomosity about it
