Does NI see Maschine growing in the future to include the things that would truely make it a great stand alone beat machine such as tempo mapping, master automation lanes, vocal tracks etc? Many of maschine users Use maschine almost exclusively as a stand alone product until tracking vocals and finishing songs especially for live use and this is needed for us!
We are planning to expand Maschine in several significant ways in the future, but we have to play our cards close to our chest in this regard, so we can't confirm or deny anything along those lines at this point

Will you be giving us the option to turn off the "Snap to Grid" feature to the likes of the 1.5 grid setting in the next update? It seems to have bothered the workflow of me and others on the forum. Also will dragging notes vertically via the mouse be fixed? It still seems buggy to me, as it skips lines.
We introduced the "Snap to Grid" behaviour due to popular demand, but you can still preserve a grid offset by nudging the note events via the controller instead of the mouse. Also, only the actual note under your mouse cursor snaps to the grid, so with multiple selected notes, you might be able to use a note as a "handle" that is already aligned with the grid in the first place.

Are there plans of integrating Traktor with Maschine for production purposes and mixtape purposes?
Traktor and Maschine are in the process of moving closer together, but we are not yet at a point to disclose details about the "when" and "how".

It would be nice to understand Maschines internal mixer and how to set up proper gain staging. Of course you have to make sure the external audio input does not clip as well as the master out but do we have to worry about clipping inside the groups or sounds? Is it all 32 bit FP?
Maschine uses 32bit floating point which provides practically unlimited processing headroom. So you don't need to worry about internal clipping, just make sure that your input and output levels are set properly.
