Kontakt 2 Portamento module (?)

Can anyone explain how to employ the portamento module in Kontakt as explained on page 193 of the K2 manual. I cannot determine what to attach it to or how to make it appear with the same controls as the manual shows to get a true portamento. Attaching it to the Source Tune knob does not work (this was my best guess). You get a different effect - not a note transition portamento like you would think. Also, the controls shown in the manual for the portamento module are not present when attached to the Source Tune knob. I just can't see how it is employed and the manual is not helpful here.

Thanks for your time,
fizbin

Portamento

I can't get it to work.
Wasn't so great in 1.53, but now....

I guess it's broke......

Thanks - it's not finished yet. I'll be adding some features to correct problems with slow attack samples and portamento. The "sucking" problem during the transition needs to be addressed in this scenario.

Portamento

Easy when you know how....(from NI suport)

In sampler mode, choose glide to modulate pitch.

Pitch then becomes a modulation source (see the bottom of the rack), & now speed / time can be set.

Ahh - I see now. Thanks for that. The glide module still looks nothing like they show in the manual.

My script will work in dfd and sampler mode. I will be adding some tweaks to it then I'll post it here.

For now you can see it at ->
