Sound Problems - Bcd 2000

hello,

one of my friendy bought traktor 3 and a bcd 2000 console and he uses it with a laptop!
The configuration with the Cycosolutions works very good!

The only problem is, that the sound stops for few seconds! After the sound-problem traktor works good!

Have anybody a solution for this problem?

Following settings i have adjusted:

- set power to desktop
- set windows to default
- the newest bcd 2000 drivers
- disabled anti vir + firewall
- disbaled bluetooth + wirless-lan
- the only usb devices are mouse and bcd-2000

Re: Sound Problems - Bcd 2000

thats the message oft the latency check

"Some device drivers on this machine behave bad and will probably cause drop-outs in real-time
audio and/or video streams. To isolate the misbehaving driver us Device Manager and disable/re-enable
various devices, one at a time. Try network and W-Lan adapters, modems, internal sound devides,
USB host controllers, etc."

Let your friend know that there are Cycokraut updates available, also, he can make a donation for using the software at:-

Disable Wireless, install the latest driver

http://www.behringer.com/05_support/...s.cfm?lang=eng

Make sure you remove the old driver first. Try a differnet USB port.

Also, make sure that in Traktor you set the audio device to Asio, set the latency of the card to the hightest (and reduce as necessary once you've got it working, make sure the BCD driver is in BDJ mode (BCD Control panel).

Let me know what happens after you have checked the above.

Re: Sound Problems - Bcd 2000

I have the same problem with my f*ckin asus a6u ... in my oppinion asus saved a lot of money with the mainboards, especially with managing usb ... I also bought a pcmcia-usb-card .. but this also does not work .... you can switch of everything .. and it will not work (I tried this with a program named latency checker .. http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml) ... this is the only thing, i think, you could try. Switch off one unneccesary device after the other and look if the graphic is still in the green ...

The only possible solution (in my oppinion) is to buy a pcmcia-usb-sound card (echo indigo dj) .. but there is no guaranty that this works ... i'm personally using my home pc for mixing and if i'm anywhere else, I'm using the vaio-book of a friend ...

if you could fix your problem by switching of any devices .. please tell me ..

switch off the onboard audio and connect (only for test) an external monitor. i've heard something, that on some notebooks the graphic-card was the reason ...

You might also try to use an external powered usb-hub ..

Re: Sound Problems - Bcd 2000

some graphic cards use memory of the computer (shared memory) and dont have their own memory, which is not very suited for DJing and other realtime audio applications...
