Important note about tech support for Traktor LE

Hello everybody,

Please note that the tech support process for Traktor LE depends on how you acquired your copy of the software.

If you got Traktor LE together with Audio Kontrol 1 or Audio 8 DJ, Native Instruments will provide tech support to you directly. In this case, please use the support form at http://www.native-instruments.com/support.info

If you own Traktor LE due to the purchase of a DJ controller (see the "Traktor Ready" program), the manufacturer of this controller will provide tech support to you. Please check the product documentation or the manufacturer website for information on how to contact their tech support team.

Traktor LE might also be included with certain DJ headphones, hard discs or similiar products without the "Traktor Ready" label. These licenses do not include tech support service. In this case, please refer to the manual, to the FAQ and knowledge base on the NI website, and to this forum to get help on eventual technical issues.

If you have further questions about how to get tech support for Traktor LE, just post them in this thread.

Question about support

I received my Traktor 3 LE bundled with the Hercules DJ Console MK2 Mac Edition. Would I be in support for an ongoing issue where I cant activate the controller in the midi section of preferences.

Hi Thomas,

I am from India and here there are no Resellers for NI product, So i got the Audio 8 Dj imported from 1 of the Electronic goods importer in india who got me Audio 8. I recieved it sealed packed, have got 1 CD with which contains Audio 8 drivers, Traktor 3 le and NI service centre. Now when i install Traktor 3 Le its asking me for 25 Digit Serial Number. i have not recived any serial number card, but when i posted this issuse in other thread they told me its the same serial number whats ur Audio 8 Dj serial number but my Audio 8 serial number is mix or alphabet and numbers and not 25 digit serial number, Kindly help me to solve this.....

I got both. 1 with Audio Kontrol and 1 with a VCI-100 and I can't get the VCI to talk to the software on 2 desktops and now my laptop. Nothing I have have ever bought before is so difficult just to get to work ever. Is the product fit for purpose?

Apologies for the cross-posting, feel free to delete my other thread as this would seem to be a more suitable location.

I have been without the use of Traktor 3LE since I forgot my password many months ago. The "forgotton password" link on the service centre does not work. It says my password will be sent to me but never is (and yes I've checked my junk folder.) I've emailed technical support detailing the problem and they sent me an automated email telling me to use the (broken) link on the service centre. I sent them a further 2 emails, both with large font subject line pleading that they read the whole email before replying. Both emails resulted in a thoroughly useless automated reply!

So I tried the forums here about a month ago and someone supplied me with a customer support number. I have had no success getting through on that number being that I am in the UK (the number had full-stops in it....wtf?)

So I would strongly advise everyone to write down your passwords somewhere extremely safe.

As a final desperate call.....can anyone please help before I'm forced to fork out for deckadance? Many thanks in advance.

VCI-100 w/ iMac Dual Core - Sound Issue ! !

Well hello music fans....
.....I am having a bit of difficulty with getting my VCI/Traktor to play music....I have everything installed and in the MIDI prefs on my mac it recognizes the VCI, and in Traktor it recognizes the Controller.

But when I go to play a song it plays in traktor but no sound ! ! And I know my computer is fine, because I was using iTunes and I could hear the music...

Anybodies help with this I will be forever grateful...

Numark Total Computer DJ

Hello NI

I just bought the Numark Total Computer DJ in a box and it came with Traktor 3 LE, I have sent in a support form, but I was also wondering is there any other way for me to get a new serial activation key? The serial number that it came with on the CD case doesn't work. I've tried to use it on the website as well as in the service center both telling me it is a invalid number.

Hi!

I use the Stanton SCS system and I'm having some issues with beat mapping in Traktor LE. It's absolutely fine for anything with a 4 / 4 beat, but completely useless with more complex electronica. Have spent hours trying to map these tracks manually, punching in the bpm and going through the whole tracks to check the mapping, but even then they don't sync. Is this just the ''limited'' nature of LE? If I were to upgrade would I still have this problem? or perhaps I'm just being dumb. any suggestions greatly appreciated.

phase meter doesnt shows!

hi there !i had traktor LE on a windows computer and the phase meter was working....cause of some memori problems i bought a imac and now after reinstaling the traktor the phase meter is gone...i got no info on the delay of the tracks....can you help me?
and also i would like to know if it is possible to edit all the songs so i can have the bpm showing on the browser...can it be done?it doesnt seems to be keeping the information after playing the tracks!
