A gallery of Reaktor ensembles - submit yours

Hi there,
Had a brainstorm, and thought it'd be fantastic to see, visually, the range of things people are doing with Reaktor patches:
http://kore.noisepages.com/2008/07/1...-hacked-alike/

Sound is important, but it's also nice to see a screenshot of an ensemble to see how different people work.

I'd love to get some submissions -- and not just the polished, nice stuff. It's great to see people's "private" ensembles, too, with knobs all over the place and hacked-together UIs, and stuff you wouldn't necessarily share as an ensemble file in the User Library. We all do this sort of thing in a pinch, or in progress toward something else, or when we're beginners.

Now that Flickr supports video, we can do short demos, too, for ones that need to be seen in motion.

There was a gallery show a few years back in Chicago that compiled people's Max patches. It was fascinating to see -- like a record of how people think. So I guess on that note, the back-end structure could be included, too.

Thoughts?

Perhaps someone has done this before, but there doesn't seem to be an active Flickr group as for vvvv, Pd, and Max/Jitter, etc.

Don't be shy -- someone still has the chance to be first poster, as well.

I'll later find a way to put together all the images in a visually interesting way. (hmmm... poster, anyone?)

Here is 2 pics. One is a few Polished GUI w/organized macro structures. The second is an in-development project meaning no fancy GUI or clearly organized structures.

Last one. Its all stuff that everyone has seen already. I wont be displaying it any longer, it's time for a new suit.

Note: on the picture early stuff the really cool silver knobs are by Bernd Keil. The VU by stephanV and and few other things by other people. This was a transitional picture, I was starting to do everything 100% as the style of the top three instruments in that picture start to take on my own look and perspective.

OK Heres an idea these are some of the things I get off on when I explore reaktor, these are some of things I admire.

I've got nothing special to add but this is the panel set i've been looking at previously when playing live, this is due to change though, i wish i had the software, patience and skill of Horuschild to make it visually more stimulating but it fits into one screen.

These look amazing! And, wow, yes, some of these are more polished than a lot of big-name commercial plug-ins are.

I'm still happy to see the unpolished ones, too -- as I said, I think it reveals something about thought and work processes (and, of course, it's the way most of us use the tool).

I find I'm designing some ensembles specifically for Kore or other control, so that it's not as huge a deal what it looks like -- actually becomes more important to label nicely for the Kore controller. But I do like things that look great on-screen, too. I've seen some other examples where Reaktor is just a back-end sound engine and people build full-blown projected / tangible interfaces / Processing sketches, etc., so that's also possible.

I did get a couple of additional submissions via email. I may get more once I put it up on the main createdigitalmusic.com page, probably in a few days, though the gurus are all here on the forums.
---
As far as the easiest way to send things:

Flickr is probably best, just because it keeps the photo and description together and such. I've also done some programming with the API, so I can easily bring up views of all the shots.
http://flickr.com/groups/reaktor/

I know not everyone uses Flickr, though, or has a pro account (and that it's been controversial for moves in Germany specifically). So whichever method is best. The pictures (at) createdigitalmusic.com account is working fine, too.

Posting here works, as well (nice that the forum makes those cute thumbnails). So wherever you like; I'll put them all together in a week or two. It'll be interesting to see everything side by side.

Last image I will post...

edit I am updating the picture made some small but needed shadow adjustments and the one pedal is not really a booster it does boost but it most boosts the saturation stage of the effect so I had to adjust the image to communicate that.
