Official update status - Maschine – Current: 1.1 - Upcoming: 1.5

This thread provides information about upcoming patches for Maschine. It will be updated whenever new information becomes available.

The currently available software version is 1.1. Please make sure that your installation is up to date.

Upcoming patch: Version 1.5

The patch is currently in this phase:
  • specification
  • development
  • beta testing
  • public beta testing

The update will include the following improvements:

New and improved features:
  • Performance page with eight assignable "Macro Controls" per Group
  • Host Automation support
  • Support for MIDI Continuous Controller and Pitchbend
  • MPC program import (specific models tba)
  • "Consolidate Audio" copies all project-related files into one folder
  • Enhanced slicing with editable markers and new "split" mode
  • Destructive audio editing with trim, normalize, copy/paste, fade etc.
  • New "Project default" preferences including project template
  • New "vintage sound" MPC 60 and SP1200 emulation modes
  • 16 Velocity Levels mode for controller
  • Adjustable polyphony limit per Sound
  • "Direct Monitor" option in sampling mode
  • MIDI export for patterns, including Drag and Drop to host
  • Improved event editing via controller
  • Improved waveform navigation via controller
  • Various other enhancements
Fixes:
  • Various fixes and stability improvements

This list is subject to change, and does not necessarily list all features and fixes that will be in the final update.

Please understand that it is not possible to give a specific release date until a patch has passed final testing. Updates may revert back to "development" at any time if additional issues are discovered during testing.

Patch status explanation:

specification - the changes to the software are defined, including details of new features and the list of fixes.

in development - the code of the software is being worked on by the developers.

beta testing - the new version is checked by a testing group for functionality, stability and compatibility.

final testing - the update goes through a final series of standardized tests prior to release.
