Vectory control question

I am trying to automate the "Sample Selection" mouse area in Vectory.

I hooked it up to the SQ8x8 and have only been able to get automation from the bottom left corner, to the slot directly to the right (slot 1 --> slot 2) and nothing else. It's not moving up or to the right at all.

My goal is to record midi-out from the Samp-select mouse area so I can get cool beat-cuts using a circular type motion in the mouse area.... In theory, it seems the 8x8 should pull this off...

Any thoughts?

You can control the sample area selection using MIDI notes. It's one of the lovely things about Vectory. You need to set it up in the MIDI controller set-up instrument, which is accessible through an alternate view.

I know it's not exactly what you are looking for, but it may be an alternate solution to your problem (cycling through keys should be the same as cycling around the samp-select area).

Hope that was of some help.

I've been using Vectory quite a bit lately. I noticed something I have never noticed before. If you move the Sample XY to the upper right, (should be last loop) if goes back to the beginning not the last of the sample loaded.

Is there a way to fix this? Or do you just disreguard the last loop in the sample?
