Hey,
i used the cdj with 1.2.3.
It works plug and play.
The mapping has been done according the basic cdj cd mode functions.
Also you can change the hid mapping just like a midi mapping in the controller manager.

Wow you got all this expensive gear and can't even set it up!
All you should have to do, assuming you wish to use native MIDI control for the 2000s, is plug them in via USB and then choose which deck you wish each CDJ to control.
Then open up the CDJ-2000 PDF diagram located in your datalocation under settings/default settings/pioneer to figure out which mappings are configured by default.

It depends what operating system you are using and if you've changed it. I have my data location on an external HD so that I can move back and forth between desktop and laptop.
Open up the preferences menu and click on the "Data Location" tab. This will provide you the current data location on your computer. Then open up an explorer window and navigate to that folder and then to the pioneer folder as described in the above path.

traktor + CDJ 2000 configuration
Hello everyone ...
Im trying to configure my 2 CDJ 2000 with traktor with no luck.
I connect both CDJ 2000 to my laptop with USB.
I can control deck A with cdj #1 and deck B with cdj #2 but the problem is that the sound from the 2 deck goes out on the same channel.
My english is poor so to explain clearly. I connect the RCA from CDJ#1 to CHANNEL A on my mixer and CDJ#2 RCA to channel B.
I connect USB from both CDJ to my laptop.
And depending on which CDJ i connect first or i have both sound from CDJ#1 & 2 on channel A or on channel B. I can't separate the sound to have CDJ#1 on channel A & CDJ#2 to channel B on my mixer.
can someone help me to configure that out
thanks

The issue you have is that each CDJ has its own soundcard and Traktor is not natively capable of supporting the use of two soundcards at once.
If you download and install ASIO4all (windows only), then you can select its soundcard driver as the Audio Device and route the output to the respective soundcards within the ASIO4All interface.

You have to use the button next to the selection knob. This will switch between the folder and track window!

just go into settings, controller manager... press the 'setup' button down in the bottom left corner of the window... you then run specific setups based on your equipment... simples.com

Would you guys mind if I merged all the CDJ 2000 posts together? I see three different threads and they could all be in one actually.
