DESCRIPTION

Yippee! Resonators like the ones in Ableton! Except these ones have optional controls for Frequency, plus an option to receive midi note data in real time <-- Unfortunately, this feature only works in standalone mode ):

The global controls are pretty self explanatory. I've also included a visual aid to show you the scales when you're building chords and complex harmonies.

Resonators make great tools for sound design -- especially drum design -- or even for atmospheric stuff! You can route a simple noise oscillator through this effect to achieve breathy flute sounds, or maybe just plug a drum loop into it to change it up a bit.

Sorry I couldn't think of a cooler name. Anyway, have fun :)

@Paul Weber - Hehe, I was doing that just a few minutes ago. Hell, I could make a whole album of nothing but fluffy harmonic atmospheres. Thanks for the tip Jeffrey.

@Jeffrey Hall - did precisely that using Dark Star's output. Eternal clouds of sonic bliss :-))

For a real treat, take SpaceDrone through fusion reflections and route that in. Breathtakingly complex and rich chords! thanks! Wonderful effect!

Hey Paul, I'm not exactly sure why midi mode isn't being received when this ensemble is open in a DAW, but I'm fairly certain that it's a simple fix. I'll go poke around the forum to see wutzwut. Of course, in the meantime, you could plug a factory sequencer like Spiral into the Resonator Ensemble and go nuts with that :)

Hey Brian this is awesome. At pixel time I'm running it in Numerology, feeding it a simple snare pattern and getting a wonderful "harmonic cloud" on the output. Impatiently awaiting some kind of midi-tweak in order to be able to modulate the resonator in real-time, hint hint wink wink
