r'ector
is a vector synth.
DESCRIPTION
r'ector is a vector synth (V1.6 made in Reaktor 5.6.2). r'ector's vector control is used to crossfade among four user-selectable waves. By using the additional waveform faders, up to twelve waves (default) can be crossfaded. Each of the four user-selectable waves can be read by either a sine or a ramp. Sine usually gives a raspier, more metallic sound. Ramp leaves the audio-table waves unaltered - what you see is what you get.
One of Peter Dines' recordable-fader macros is at the heart of the vector control. Several instances of another of his macros are used to automate modulating pitch and cycling through waveforms. The knobs come from Aerobic.ens.
V1.1: changed label for the amp envelope
V1.3: knob placement of Pan and Fine
V1.4: select sine or ramp to read the wavetables
V1.5: link option for filter controls; optional manual control of vector position
V1.6: maximum filter resonance slightly lowered
