Reaktor 5 or lower
Instrument Sampler

DESCRIPTION

after a whole while i decided to update my toxonic glitch ensemble again. i didn't change very much, i kicked out some bugs, re-designed the gui and i replaced the grain delay with a new core cell that i built my own. it sounds more "grainy" and "crispy" and you can now change the stretching speed steplessly.
further i added "morphine", an fx morpher for some nice special fx, sound pretty good on drums for dusty, saturated sounds. note, that it's set to "dry" by default, so you will only hear toxonic glitch - but feel free to set it on "wet" to hear what it's like.
the sampler in it is for demonstration purposes only, remove it and connect reaktors audio in to mangle every audio signal you want and use it in your daw.
have fun!

---------------------------
Sorry to all who downloaded the corruped zip file - should be fixed now!!!

Version 2:
the new version of my reaktor tribute to the famous "dblue glitch vst"!
the ansemble contains a simple loop-sampler - this is for demonstration purposes only, u can use every audio input for glitch!
btw: the drum-loop is fucking boring.... :D
news:
- several bugfixes
- new pitch-shifter macro (now seperate from the stutter) - not better than before, but sounds more grainy
- new filter delay fx
- new 2-mode lp/hp filter macro with ramp and envelope follow modulation
- re-built stretch macro, now based on the grain-delay
- sequencer with some new features (thnx to richard figone and kid sputnik for their suggestions) and an info text, how to use and edit

have fun!

---------------------------

this ensemble consists of a special fx-bank with 9 different realtime manipulation fx (stutter, gater, shuffler, comb filter,...), a sequencer for every fx and an example loop sampler as input source, just to show, what the machine is able to!
you can save up to 9 presets per fx, opr you can tweak the knobs on the fly! you also can kick out the sequencer and trigger every single fx with the q-o keys on your keyboard!
for the first time, just hit the spacebar and see whats going on, it'S not hard to understand!
i developed a hole bunch of corecells for glitch, but i'm still new to core - there will follow some updates i guess!
i'd be thankful for suggestions or feedback!
thanks!

Awesome BUT just like for the Toxonic Glitch Live I can't seems to map the trigger controls on LIVE for most of the triggers, it's seems only the stutter/reverse/Bit are availabe and I did my best to replicate the event on the rest of the triggers but nothing Any idea? It would be awesome to reach the goal as I can map it to my launchapd for a live session...please?

Great with the sequencer removed and maped to my emu Xboard 25 - fx work one on top of another. I love it.

not at all. ;) by the way, i know, the sequencer was and still is a closed book to many people - i'm now working on a new one that's much more easy of use. i promise to upload it soon and make the whole ensemble a bit less cpu expensive.

There's a bug with the Tape macro. When setting "Inertia" to 0 the fx stops working and you have to turn Reaktor off and on to make it work again. I solved it by setting Inertia Min to 0.01

hey, mr. sakabeaT! yes, the delay is working properly, but it's not a delay-fx in the common sense, that the full audisignal is passing and feeded back into the signalflow...... after you trigger the effect, the audiosignal will feed the effect only for the delaytime and then stop - this is why you only hear a fractional part of the signal after triggering, if you listen to it in dry mode! sorry for my poor english, hope you got it!

that is a marvelous fx thx!! is the dry/wet knob of the delay working?

it's working this time. I've noticed the multiple version download problem with other library submissions - although, up to this point, I thought the authors had deliberately chosen to upload all previous versions - didn't know it was an NI website thing. anyway - have V.2 working here and it's great - thanks!

hu? what the hell happens to my files while transferring to the ni-server? for some reason, there are three files in the zip now.... is this normal? 2 elder "glitch" versions and the new one - just use the new one "TOXONIC GLITCH 2.ens" the last time, the zip file was corrupted and mp3 files won't be accepted - reported to be no valid mp3 files!!! what's going on here? sorry to all, hope this time it works!

Really great! Thanks for sharing this. I've just switched to Mac and this will replace the famous PC-only "db Glitch" pretty well! Great, 10!

very nice! one thing id suggest, for the scene select switch, try using a list control instead (set to button GUI mode). switches can cause audio glitches and event issues (see vectory) with some instruments, so for somethinglike this that just selects constant values, a listbox is alot 'safer'. regardless, this is awsome to play with.

that's a good point, richard - i did't even think about that kind of feature, because most of the time i use the machine wether in sequenced mode OR in manual mode. i will try it out! thank you for your comments! yes indeed, the scene- and the preset selector in the sequencer is a bit tricky, but still didn't find an elegant solution!
Richard Figone

well i've really destroyed this comment box by now! got everything figure out! great work. only thing i can suggest is a bypass button on the sequencer so the performer can qwerty it up live with the triggers and then toggle back into sequence mode.

sorry, didn't really see the scene selector; wondering how to program it. i have tried clicking on it but the square usually turns blue or black... don't understand
Richard Figone

dude, this is awesome. please update as often as poss. i think this is MUCH better than loop chop, because i can add my own loop mashers to this and just use it as an effect. BRILLIANT as an effect box. i think the scene selector as another modulation source for the effect box might be a cool idea... i voted 10.
