Reaktor 5 or lower
Instrument Sequencer

DESCRIPTION

Glexonic is the result of me spending some quality time with the new Glex Livesampling corecell, by tim exile. it consists of a 4-voice FM groovebox that feeds into the glex effect section. this is a sequencer-controlled glex, followed by a sequenced delay. most of the controls are self-explanatory, but it's advised to read the tooltips, where applicable.

also included is an instrument version of the sequenced Glex + delay effect, for mashing and glitching up any source audio.

i included a few snaps. id like to make more, but i want to release this already, i think its pretty cool. ill try to update it with a b-view tutorial, if enough people get confused by it (i doubt it, though).

again, please tell me what you think.

also, id like to thanks Tim Exile for his awsome granular corecells in 5.1, im really lovin glex. also, thanks to everyone here in the community for your support, you're all awsome!

Both the drum synth and the sequenced effect are excellent little devices. Thank you, I can see these getting a lot of use.

This is probably one of the most unique beat boxes I've ever see. Well done!

Hi Daniel May I suggest that you make an option to sync the Glex loopers to the bpm/host like the orig. Glex. I have no skills to do it myself though I guess it's probaly quite simple. Maybe the xy displays could jump to the synced positions like a grid when sync is on?

Well done, somewhere between the Black Ark studio and 'Faust' tapes this is the black box passed among initiates ;-)

Thanks Daniel, I really like this. I am vry interested in the sequencer. I'm not clear how to have it run in time with a drum machine though. I'm also not too clear as to what the controls do but experimentation is all part of the fun cheers z

Currently running Memory Drum 2 and L3 through 2 instances of the Sequenced Glex instrument, and am pleased to report a beautifully deranged tapestry of sound fragments like wot those crazy australians like Robin Fox manage to come up with... Very cool indeed. I also love your Stalker ensemble.

btw, any new downlaoders, make sure to try out the included .ism. i was originally going to make this an effect only, but i thought a dual download effect + groovebox w_fx would be pretty cool. andreas, i agree with the not easy to program comment, the XY's are trickier than tables, but i havent used the multiplex in ages, and was into trying the dual-parameter-per-step thing ALA deadbeats.

why thankee. phil, i shoulda made the ranges more open-ended, but i wasntsure if anyone would be into it. it was actually pretty easy to program, though, and now im working on a new Glex based instrument that mashes live input, with recordable keystrokes ALA the speed sequencer.

oh my gosh!!!! this is brilliant. we have a new Reaktor Guru!!! The Speed Seq. alone is worth 10. use a bit of lateral thinking and this could be very usefull with your own ensemble creations

This is fun, man. Not quite as easy to program as some other beat boxes, but the sound quality is exceptional!

Thanks a lot mate, this is Great! The Glecks instrument is fun but using just the sequenced glex - db.ism as an insert fx makes a wonderful glitch effect! I'll have a lot of experimenting to do with this one.
