Instrument Sequencer

DESCRIPTION

----v2.1----

Nothing has changed apart from the new smaller face panel as requested by some users. Hopefully this will fit on the screen a bit better.

Thanks, Dean.

----v2.0----
New Features

-You can now select between the standard Oscillators or the new WaveTables.

-Each Osc has a Saturation stage in the Filter section, with a variety of flavours.

-Modulation has been completely rewired now with 36 destinations (including the Attack and Decay times for each OSC). Press the Modulation button in the Global section to view the options.

-Frequency Shifter, Quantize and Sample Reduction added to the effects section.

-Master Filter now features four routing options.

-2 x LFO's with LFO1 x LFO2 and LFO1 - LFO2 selectable as modulation sources.

-Snapshots controllable via Midi CC or Midi Notes.

-A dedicated Wavetable editor in the 'B' view.

-Waveform display, particularly useful for viewing the result of LFO1 x LFO2.

-Improved GUI layout.

Credits go out the usual suspects, Rick Scott, Clist and Theologiae. There is a couple of people I forgot to mention the first time round. Mike Daliot and James Walker-Hall's 'Metaphysical' was a direct inspiration for the Automation Faders. Dieter Zobel's 'Skurrilia' was also a large inspiration for this instrument.

Enjoy!

p.s. Sorry, it's a bit of a screen hog!

Some 14 years later and it turns out to be waaay better than expected! As heard from the demo sample it does pretty cool glitchy probabilistic drumming but is also great for some irregular gritty textures (ae's gantz-graf-style).

Great ensemble for groove animation and creating weird but groovy ryhthmical structure - thanx for sharing!

Great job ! Being a classical musician I normally hate all these grooveboxes. But this one sounds so very freaky that I simply can´t remove a grin from my face, no matter how hard I try. 7-12% CPU on 1,7Ghz Pentium M standalone. Thank you !

David Wesley - Try using the updated ensemble and let me know if it works or not. Das and others - Thanks for your kind comments, I just thought it was time I gave back to the community that has taught me so much. Cheers, Dean.

i have deleted the faceplate, scope and so on and shrunk it down by making knobs smaller and crunching the module sizes. took me over an hour i suppose. now fits very snug, don't need to scroll to see other sections anymore... doesn't look beautiful anymore, but it is a great machine.

I love this. Fascinating rhythms. Beautiful work. Works fine for me on my 3.2 GHz Pentium 4, XP S2, 2 Gb RAM, recently purchased wide screen monitor. Runs at about 20% CPU. Thank you so much! Now I just need to figure out how it works!

My machine specs - Sony P4 3.6Ghz - 2GB RAM - WinXP SP2 - Crashes in Live and Reaktor Standalone. No other ensembles exhibit this behavior.

My screen is B-I-G and I like it. I think everyone should have a big screen just to enjoy this. Cool man!

I have a Mac G5 (pre-intel) 20" monitor, 1680x1050. The ensemble can fit across the screen, but I have to shrink all the other windows...pain in the pooper.

Re: Crash - just downloaded the file myself and it works fine. I'm not sure what could be causing the crash on your machine. Sorry. Re: Screen size - For sure, you might have to wait a while though. I have a 22" LCD and I didn't even consider the fact that it wouldn't fit on most other screens until it was finished. My fault.

Is it possible to redesign the GUI to be narrower please?
Dean Lowe

Unless something went wrong during the upload, I can't think of anything that would make it crash. Unless someone out there can confirm this problem I'm not sure that I can fix it. Richard - Have you tried the ensemble? David - What's your machine specs? If other people who have downloaded the file can post whether it's working or not working maybe we can narrow down the problem.

i'll wait for the next fix,,,, but the sample sounds great, can't wait...

What a bummer. I LOVE Terminal Glitch 1. Instantiating Version 2 means immediate crash for me. Weird.

Runs fine here SP2 and stand alone R5. Gorgeous job on all details! This is the first instrument in many days to not fit my monitor. Am I already behind the curve?

Hmmm, interesting. I have the same set up. It has not crashed at all on my system. With everything switched on it runs at about 20% - 30% of my CPU. If anyone else has this problem let me know. Maybe try downloading the file again. :(

Opening Terminal2 immediately crashes host and Reaktor in stand-alone mode. WinXP SP2 - Ableton Live - Latest Version of Reaktor
