Universal Binaries for all current NI products

All current Native Instruments products are compatible with Intel-based Macs.

The updates are free for registered users of the relevant products and can be downloaded in our Update Manager....

Please note that some updates require a new serial number! These serial numbers can be requested in the Update Manager as well.

Notes:

KONTAKT Player 2 Universal Binary Update is free via download for registered users of KONTAKT Player 2. Please install KONTAKT Player 2 form CD/DVD on your Intel-Mac and activate this version using the NI Service Center. After activating you can download and install the Universal Binary Update form the NI Service Center (Update Manager) or from our Website.

Native Instruments does not recommend, or offer technical support for, using its products within the "Rosetta" environment on Intel-based Macintosh computers. (Please note that, according to Apple, Logic 7.1 does not run within the Rosetta environment either.)

New Native Instruments product releases and updates will continue to support PowerPC-based G4 and G5 Macintosh computers until further notice.

Users of third-party instruments based on KONTAKT, KOMPAKT or INTAKT technology should contact the respective manufacturers for information about support for Intel-based Macs.

No Universal Binary updates will be released for older or no longer available versions of NI products, such as ABSYNTH 1/2/3, REAKTOR 3/4, GUITAR RIG 1, REAKTOR SESSSION, FM7, BATTERY 1/2, B4 (Version 1), PRO-5/52, TRAKTOR DJ Studio 1/2.x, INTAKT, KOMPAKT. INTAKT and KOMPAKT users can upgrade to KONTAKT 3.
