DESCRIPTION

------ IMPORTANT -------

When you try the snapshots, remember to change the snapshots of the Upper (top) instrument.
This will also control the LOWER instrument. Think of the LOWER as the slave of the UPPER
instrument, only to be used when you want to have a layered or split sound.
This is reverse in comparision to the Synthecs (also found in the user library).

Ensemble made on PC, Windows XP.
Requires a screen resolution of 1200 pix width to fit comfortably.
It is a bit of a CPU hog for just 4 voice synth...

This ensemble doesn't use the Analog Legacy technology.

thanks- great job! I own the OPX PROII and a few Oberheim Matrix 1000, but this is a very nice addition to my collection!

I got my OB-8 in 1986 and used it up to 2003, so I know the original by heart. This one comes sooo close ! Excellent work.

I have decided why you don't have a 5 star rating in the upper right corner of this page. It is probably because Sonic Projects has probably created the best Reaktor Oberheim there is... It is the OP-X Reaktor Ensemble and It is beyond perfection with tons of patches. A lot of hard work you can tell went into it. It is the best but I must say you have done an incredible job as well... I have always wanted one that looked like the OB-8 and the OP-X looks like the OB-X not the OB-8 and your does look like the OB-8 again good job!

I own the Whole lot of Oberheims and I program them extensively and Oberheim Is my Favorite Analog!, of course Spectrasonics makes great stuff but this Miracle of a Reaktor ens sounds exactly like my OB-8 after doing some program tweaking. FANTASTIC FANTASTIC JOB!!!!! 5 Stars Plus!!!!!

Great graphics if not a little hard on the eyes. The sound is quite thick, though limited but then, so is the original

The only really annoying thing to me, is that the Voice Cards are far too detuned for me! I believe you can definitely achieve that famous Oberheim sound without detuning the voices THIS FAR. When i press the Auto-Tune button (thinking that would fix the problem) it doesn't do a thing..... Hmmm. Could you please help me out here Mr. ZooTook?

"Don't You, Forget About Me...." Did you know that the Scottish rock/synth band "Simple Minds" used the OBXa for alot of their songs? You can even see it in the music video for DYFAM Great emulation Mr. Took, another one to add to your collection of superb emulations. Also, you have beautiful (nearly Aturia-quality) GUIs Other than the sound, the GUI is what makes you feel like you're playing the real thing you know? KUDOS

Super Clone !!! The only Thing what I`ve changed. I put in a Switch to cancel the "Tunedrift". Because this was the Reason than I can´t play my Original on Stage. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome looking, awesome sounding, the best set of presets I've seen on any ensemble so far. But, I get some annoying muted clicks or pops quite often when I play it, and it doesn't seem to be clipping on the output. Anybody else get this? (Using Reaktor 4 on a 2GHz PC.)

Stephen - I'll have a go a the VST issue. I never run it as VST and I'v heard some issues with other ensembles. You could try the instrument properties - make all knobs visible...

The best looking and sounding synth I have downloaded sofar frankly it is better than the factory synths that came with Reaktor. The only problem is that as a DXi it crashes my Sonar 3.11 and as a VST it is impossible to get to all the nobs. I would love a DXI fix

Amazing, wonderful! Someone has finally managed to have a go at the OB series! I sue the OB SEM supplied iin Reaktor 3 all the time. OBXa is great. Does anyone want to have a go at the Roland MKS80 Super Jupiter or Korg PS 3300 now!?

I had to make another comment. This is the best Reaktor Ensmeble ever. I've owned and used Reaktor for 4 years and this is a very good day because you have made the ensemble that all future ensembles will be judged. Now make a Memorymoog!!!!
