Reaktor 5 or lower
Instrument Sampler

DESCRIPTION

Update V1.4:
---------------
- The promised fix for bugs caused by new functionality in r4.1.2!
- Several new panel controls
- Can we get this one back to 3000+ downloads? :)

Description:
Turns your ordinary household samples into blazing meteors in the night sky.

The story:
Loop-Rippa meets Grainstates, and they go out for a few too many drinks with Travelizer.

From standard BPM-matched recycling to completely experimental random evolving cut-ups. Stutters, metallic graininess, reversing speed changes, blah blah blah...

Comes with it's own step-by-step tutorial built into the ensemble, just change snapshots, and read the information.

Note: To make the PolyRhythmDelay work like a normal delay, set the "Rel" to 100%, Mod to 0, and Mojo to a pattern where most of the red lights are lit.

Enjoy!

UPDATES:
--------
V1.2 (07/2003)
- Another fix for V4.0.2.002 bugs. Fixes issues loading file on Mac with Selector and PolyAT modules. This releases fixes the following Mac-specific issues;
- Default buttons not working
- PolyRhythmDelay not working
- Length and StepSize not changing with Variation
- (possibly) Scene Locking not working

V1.3 (08/2003)
- Added a few more snapshots, and put tutorial-style comments on all snapshots
- Made the poly-rhythm delay a little fancier
- Fixed issue with the file not opening after saving in Cubase SX. I still don't know what exactly causes this, I basically just copy all the instruments into a new ensemble and it works - weird.

V1.4 (04/2004):
- The promised fix for bugs caused by new functionality in r4.1.2! This was a painful process with many long debugging sessions, but I think it's working quite nicely!
- Several new panel controls

Hi Chris, obviously I'm got clever, but I just spent two hours failing to follow your first instruction. Press play on global sequencer. Maybe it's because I've loaded my samples in wrongly? I can't see a play button to press. I have movement of the vertical lines over my waveform. Just no sound. Help. Please.

This is an unbelievable ensemble. Works extremely well with Reaktor's more synthetic grooveboxes and the Resonator is totally awesome. Kralik said it best: "Turns shit to gold". And if THAT'S not a compliment..I don't know what is...since turning shit to gold is an unbelievable feat rivaled only by Jesus....

10 points no doubt. If anything drops my jaw, this one do. I really love the randomness and the soundscapes.. creepy, gritty and delicious.

telling one time would have been enough too:-)))). But I like this here much, so who knows, in a week I'll repeat myself another time:-)))). Great to work with.

Surely has nothing to do with "deconstructionism", but who cares:).A renowned developer by the way once told me he had thought "deconstruction" meant something like "re-ordering" or "destruction and mangling"...and then said he simply had not understood the fashionable term. Anyway, this is a great sampler, and I thank you VERY much for the detailed description, something VERY useful for me. Thanks.

nice...much fun even for people not yet ready to take a deep look inside of it :-). As I don't like every 3rd thing to be named "deconstruction", sometimes meaning icecream, next time meaning time-stretching and re-arranging of snaps, next time destruction and so on, I'd rather have missed sth. had I not downloaded it even though :-))).

Yeah... yes, this one is very, very nice indeed. I've barely started messing with it, and already I'm totally amazed. I could listen to the Fauna d' Overlord snapshot all day, alone! Really original, and I can see myself using this one tons. Kudos!

Mac issues are being sorted out right now. Looks like there's a bug in V4.0.2.002 with PolyAT messages and with Selector modules and the way the settings for each one gets loaded differently on the different platforms. Should have an update posted in the next 2 hours that will fix both problems. Sorry, wish I'd seen that post on the forums about this before today!

if only more people were this detailed in their descriptions/tutorials.... the loop-rippa series are fantastic. this is a serious beast, a must for anyone who wants to cut up and stretch samples in a BPM fashion. my only concern is that the "PolyRhythmDelay" does not seem to work on my Mac.....but i bet this is a Mac problem....another clist winner.
