Club Masher
Club MasherWelcome to THE FINGER. This demo consists of 4 different loop variations taken from the same Detroit techno jam. All the filters, delays, repeats, grains etc are coming from THE FINGER as a plug-in in a DAW, acting on the master output. Check out how it dissolves into a poly-rhythmic pad at the end.
Guitar Acoustic
Guitar AcousticHear this riff shift smoothly from a smokin' pluck, through harmonic clouds, spangling resonances and harmonic blasts.
Crazy IDM
Crazy IDMThis demo is made up of 4 different variations on an IDM/Breakcore style loop. The original loops were taken from a live jam with my REAKTOR machine. The first 2 are just drums, the last 3 are drums & bass. All the edits and processing are done in realtime using 132 different effects from The Finger as a plug-in. No recorded audio was butchered in the making of this demo.
Another Guitar
Another GuitarThis demos shows only just one of the hundred different ways how you can treat a guitar with THE FINGER.
Vocal
VocalThis is what THE FINGER can do with just ONE sound! Listen to this single vocal 'ahhh' grow, shimmer and morph from a smooth note to a rhythmic pad, to poly-rhythmic percussion, on to biting granular textures, to a jet-like swoosh, then explode into some crazy space detritus and drift off into the void. Believe!
Bass
BassThis is the bassline from the track "Spring in Autumn" from The Finger EP, processed using THE FINGER. Only the bassline is being processed, all the rest is left alone. One finger, one instrument... imagine the possibilities.
Unprepared Piano
Unprepared PianoThis demo uses only a Grand Piano from the KONTAKT Factory Library and THE FINGER. All sounds are produced live, no external audio editing was used.
Finger on Beat
Finger on BeatJust two loops in this one, taken from a REAKTOR jam. Lots of fills and scratches. The recorded audio was untouched. All these edits are happening in realtime on the keyboard baybee!
Pushed Cup
Pushed CupHere's a recording of a cup being pushed over a table surface. You hear it dry first, then a whole bunch of variations using THE FINGER. Each variation starts with the dry signal from the opening sound, then morphs into pretty much anything you want. Stings, idents, spot FX... THE FINGER can do it all. I have ´to be honest here... I just plonked my fingers on the keyboard and this is a selection of what came out!
