How can I import third-party sounds into the FM8 browser?
To import third-party FM8 sounds into the FM8 browser just follow the below steps:
Start FM8, then open the File menu and choose Options.
In the Database tab click on Add. A new explorer window will open where you can select the folder on your hard drive containing your custom sounds (in this example the folder is called Toxic). The respective entry will be added to the FM8 User Library Directories:
Click on Rebuild DB followed by Ok to rescan the FM8 database and close the Options. Once this is complete the library and its containing presets will become visible in the FM8 File Browser:
