The sample libraries have not been installed in the specified location under Snow Leopard
This is a known issue under Snow Leopard when you select the root of a drive for the Library installation instead of a folder. You will then get the following two folders on your drive:
Library/Receipts (including files with the extension .bom and .plist)
Users/Shared (including the Komplete 6 sample libraries)
The installation works fine, but if you want to clean up the library folder on this disc, proceed as follows:
- Delete the whole Library/Receipts folder. This is not required for Komplete 6.
- Create a new folder for your library and give it the desired name.
- Move the folders "Battery 3 Library" and "Kontakt 4 Library" from the folder "Users/Shared" into your new library folder.
- Start Battery 3 and open the Battery options (File -> Options). Under "FactoryContentPath" click on the Set button and select your "Battery 3 Library" folder on the hard disk.
- Start KONTAKT 4 and open the Main Options with the Options button in the upper toolbar. Go to the Load / Import tab, click on the Choose button and select your "KONTAKT 4 Library" folder on the hard disk. Then go to the Database tab in the options, press the Add button and select the "KONTAKT 4 folder" again. Finally press the Update button on this tab to start rebuilding your database.
