Mac OS X Compatibility of Native Instruments Software and Hardware
The attached PDFs show the compatibility of all NATIVE INSTRUMENTS software and hardware products on Mac OS X. They are updated regularly. The current statements show all products until March 2013.

MASCHINE 1.0.0 DVD installer
Note: This topic only concerns MASCHINE installation discs labeled with "Copyright 2008".
After installing MASCHINE on Mac OS 10.6 and higher from a DVD labeled with "Copyright 2008", the MASCHINE controller might not work. The below steps will help you to resolve the issue:
1. Download the installer "MASCHINE 1.0.3 Fix for Mac OS X 10.6" from the protected update manager on the NI website. Access to this page requires to login with your username and password. Also MASCHINE needs to be registered in your account.
2. After downloading, start the "MASCHINE 1.0.3 Fix for Mac OS X 10.6" installer. When asked to do so, enter the MASCHINE Installer DVD (Mac version).
When the installation is finished, download and install the latest MASCHINE update.
AUDIO KONTROL 1 Mapping Tool
Version 1.0.2 of this tool will not work on Mac OS 10.6 and higher. Download and install "AUDIO KONTROL 1 1.2.5 Mac OS X 10.5, 10.6 Update" from the protected update manager on the NI website. This installation includes the CONTROLLER EDITOR which replaces the AUDIO KONTROL 1 Mapping Tool.
Leopard Installer Patch
Some issues with legacy installers under Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard can be resolved with the Leopard Installer Patch.
