If you are trying to install BATTERY 3, MASSIVE or FM8 on a Windows 7 64-bit operating system and the installation hangs showing the status Updating System Configuration, you have to un-tick the "DXI" plugin type in the installer dialogue.

After finishing the installation, use SERVICE CENTER for product activation and update your Native Instruments products to the latest versions.
