LFO of pataseq controls track A-D mod PidL. Track C+D mod smooth in SF Disp. The LFO track 5+6 mod A of SF Dispersion and the track 7+8 mod B. The LFO rate setting is below the LFO wave.

Clock provides a clock signal as a sequence of gates via its Gate output. It allows you to run Blocks that rely on external timing information, for example sequencers. For this, the Clock's Gate output is connected to the Gate input of a sequencer. The tempo is set in beats per minute (BPM), with a definable note division for the sequence of gates (4th, 8th, and so on). Additionally, you can add some groove by turning up SHUFFLE and mod Shuffle by MOOVE. The Reset output sends a gate every time Clock is activated. When the RESET function is enabled, reset gates are also sent while the clock is running, at an interval set by the Reset Interval control on the panel. Reset gates are useful for synchronizing multiple sequencers in a patch.

Pata Quencer with eight tracks.
What is not to see or not to understand is pataphysical! Or name it real: A lot of randoms with different amounts. Add, multiply, dimished the value, divide, substract etcpp.
Pataphysic based on the novel: Gestes et opinios du docteur Faustroll by Alfred Jarry, 1911.

The animate engine is pata Sequencer. Int/ext clock start the sequencer and set the tempo. Eight identical tracks built this sequencer. From left to right. Blue button switch every track on. S-button set random steps in the patten. Second one (0-button) at the end of the row reset all steps to zero individual in every 16-step pattern. To set a step point mouse on the bottom of a step field. Press and hold left mouse button and pull up/down. The heigth is the velocity in the outgoing gate. Root note send MIDI signals to internal MIDI receivers. P(itch)Amount up/down quantize the selectable root note. LFO shaper with 5 entries: pulse, triangle, sinus, sample & hold and brown noise.

Adjust the listening steps. Next three built their own section: individual steps changes. Step mod amount, remix position on/off and shuffle/groove amount. Len is the gate length. It’s adjustable for each pattern.

4 pattern a 16 steps, set/reset steps each row or pataphysical the sequence [press S-button] and start the clock. The easiest way is to change the sound is number the root note in every row or switch off the start of the row. It's a fluxus 64 steps sequencer. If you want to have an empty pattern during playing reset with the right 0-button.

9 Lazy switches randomize settings of Root Note, Pitch Amount, LFO shape, numbers of steps, mod steps, remix on/ off, swing factor, lazy amount in all different patterns and gate length.

recordable automatic wavetable use with Pata sequencer or any other desired one.

in the first row is P/G 1 and 2, in the last P/G row is 7 and 8

A/loop drives Amplifier in wavetables and control the loop in the sample
oct/wave changes the octave and select the wave sample
x/y mix control every two samples in a row

to play recordable x/y fader start the MIDI clock [press the play button]
The West Coast LPG represents the Blocks take on the low pass gate, a peculiar filter circuit originally designed by synthesizer legend Don Buchla for controlling the dynamic properties of a sound. It uses an optocoupler that smoothes the LPG's response to external control. When excited by a sharp-edged signal via its Pluck input, the LPG opens and closes in a natural sounding manner, giving sounds a plausible quality that is reminiscent of a drum hit or a plucked string.
Superformula Dispersion

Version 6a

Jim Hurley

Disperse the sound based on the Superformula

Each octave band on the various stages gets dispersed based on the superformula-modified band frequency

Botanist Johan Gielis suggested this formula (the 'Superformula') can be used to describe many shapes found in nature. It is a generalization of the super-ellipse.

LEVEL S is a stereo volume control including level metering, with additional switches for mute, mono summing and phase inversion. It is intended to be
used as the first Block after an In module or the last Block before an Out module, however it may also be used to monitor and control signals at any point in a patch. The color selector in the upper right corner of the panel lets you assign distinct colors to different parts or signal chains in a patch.

Hey Paule! Thank you for the updated 'shout out' ;-) It was actually compatibility issues between older 'Mac Pro' hardware and newer OS/NI requirements that has kept me from running latest versions of R6. But have today added a newer Mac Pro to studio, and am downloading 'Octaudio 3' as I write :)

@andrew: LoopyC is the aka name of Chris Gibson in the NI Reaktor forum. In his last email he told me to buy a larger mac to can run the newest version of R6.
