Version 1.1-- removed 'global' MIDI channel selector, since MIDI channels are set per voice, versus globally.

I felt limited by how the 'NewScool with MIDI Out' mod (excellent work by Thomas Stark!) sent MIDI out on a single channel. So-- I added a MIDI channel selector for each NewScool voice as well as four SteamPipes and a four-channel stereo audio mixer just for funsies. Now you can send each voice to a different instrument-- add more instruments and experiment!

Many thanks to the builders and sound designers here. The user library is a constant delight. I used your ensemble here ( and I am very grateful for the hours of work you put into it.

@Lee-- just delete the instruments you'd like to replace, drag in a different instrument, then use the 'Properties' panel for the new instrument to wire the MIDI out of one of the 'MIDI Triggers' to the MIDI in of the new instrument (this is under the 'Connect' tab in the properties panel). You'd also have to wire up the L/R audio outputs of the instrument to the 4-channel mixer.

Hey Brian, amazing idea here! Any clues as to how I'd sub out SteamPipe for something else?
