Instrument Sampler

DESCRIPTION

A live sampler with 2 grain-cloud-delays.
There was a thread about live-sampling some time ago, so I thought I could upload this example.
Combine two or more of them with your favorite effects!
You can modulate the read-position of the buffer with an lfo or a sequencer. With smaler values the sequencer can be used to create rhythmic stuff, with bigger values you can create evolving structures.
Each GCD has two peak-eqs that can be modulated for non-repetitive organic structures.
Personally I am using an instrument with two of them and some effects as a bus-plug-in in Logic. When I improvise I can sample anything I want and then create long evolving structures out of it.
Inspired by the way Jason Kahn worked some time ago: sampling the sounds of his drum-kit and then working with them in the computer.

(several pieces made with this or similar instruments plus effects can be heard in the sound-download-area of my homepage (they are all called "logbooks"))

I should have said that, of course: play something in it, push freeze and turn the A-knobs to hear something. You can try out lfo- and sequencer-modulation of the read position (or jitter of course). Sorry it is so small: I use it as a plugin, so I made anything as small as possible... I really don't know if anybody can use it, it is perfectly adapted to my needs (I modified it a few times), but i thougth sharing it is better than thinking about it...

J.Paul this is an effect, so load up an audio file in the player....you also need to hit play...oh yes the A knobs control the volume of the graindelay.

I couldn't get any sound out of it myself. Whats the deal with tooltips in R5? Even the factory ensembles say "no info" when you hover the mouse over almost every element in an ensemble.
