DESCRIPTION

Update : I've included a building block ensemble where everything not needed is removed, and with better descriptions on the ports of the oscillators, I hope this is usable
..........................
this is only a very simple synth without any modulation sources,
but has some good sounding snaps nevertheless

I am not sure what I will do with this, there are way too many options
thats why I post it now,

the structure is so, that you can simply kick out things you dont
want and start building your own synth around this I think, without haveing to
deconstruct every detail

I don't quite understand what this is doing yet but the variety of sounds is simply stunning.

This is a spring-board to a lot of my sound design experiments. A beautiful sounding instrument, great job.

This Sounds so great, it reminds me of the crystal clear FM sounds of the early Synclavier ! Thanks a lot !!

very nice work. would it be possible to get something like this running in real-time? I realise there would be a big jump in cpu usage, but im more interested in the possibility.. cheers.

This (as is everything you contribute) a most excellent tool.Thank you for all of your time and effort.I truely enjoy constructing with your modal macros/ensembles.

this is a beautiful sounding synth. I'm gonna just leave it as it is.

This is really great work. Voting 10. I asked a question earlier in the forum about seeing single lines into a merge which I had noticed in a factory synth. Nobody responded and I notice that you've done the same thing going into your odd even filter so I'm hoping that you can shed some light on the purpose of this construct. Again, fantastic work. Thanks very much!

Best so far!

excellent! this should be basic stuff from NI to show how their oscillators work. high time to build ensembles that combine different types from this christmas table including modulations like keytracking and lfos etc. thanks so much

ant - too many questions to answer them here, you're critic about complexity and straightforwardness is probably right - I will post some more descriptions or a rip-apart instruction to the forum when I find the time

What was I ranting about, it's awesome, especially with some of the modulations is going through the filters. What you reckon the best modulations on it would be?

snap array = snapshot saved data. looks also like waveform data is stored as events, which may have some other meaning inside this structure.

What a great oscillator! The very definition of additive. What great modulations! Wait a minute, why is there a horrible creaking sound every time the wave changes? Why is he using a multipicture? Where is the audio table? What no audio table? The guy is insane the using a snap array to hold audio data how on earth is that supposed to be better than an audio table? That said, everything in this is 10 out of 10. But why does it take one second to write anything? It should only take an early second to write an audio table. Are you planning to have a version with controlled crossfade time in between the different wave shapes? Blatantly blasting things away here, but why on earth is it so complicated? I reckon I'm going to start an action group to encourage people to make simple ensembles that are easy to edit! Please help, I don't understand! Something like this should be much more straightforwardly designed! Either way, the concept is white hot thinking.

incredible enough to make me comment on an ensemble for the first time in 3 years. This thing is going to birth so many other great ensembles, i can't wait.

ok, this is fantstic. definatly worth turning into a "proper" synth, if you are toying around with the idea. keep up the great work!
