Reaktor 5 or lower

DESCRIPTION

update : removed a zipping noise in the panning ( thanks Donavan ), also added a mini reverb

................................................

pitchforced cloud with drag+draw wavescan, formantshift and resonators, sequenced
designed to use with voice samples

R 5.1.1 002 compatible

credits :
1 sample stolen from Sir Wari ( Phil Durrant )

caveats :
I think there was some mistake with the sequencers behaviour but in the meantime I forgot what it was ..
also the display sometimes doesn't show the right sample

Hey guys! I'm relatively new to Reaktor and downloaded this. How do I get audio output? I've tried using it on a midi with audio routed to that track, and I've also tried using Reaktor FX as a plug-in on a midi track and an audio track to no avail.

I have not explored it thoroughly or for more than 20 mins , but the concept delights me. You little genius :D

Hi Gabriel, facing your ensembles always makes me feel sooo small. Absolutely outstanding - as always. Best regards to you.

thanks very much gabriel. this has a really unique and musical sound; this is what i always wanted but never could get from travelizer. one small but obvious hack: this works well as an fx if you just pull out the sample player and replace it with a grain cloud delay. the re-wiring is very straightforward.

I see what you mean, good suggestion for now you could try to hack the structure and modulate the Res Cut by the gate by some amount, not exactly the same but have a similar effect

You know what I'd like? No? I'll tell you anyway.....a way to sequence the resonators with the gate signals so that you can choose which slices got to resonators. So that not everything gets resonated, if you see what I mean....bigger cages, longer chains.

you're right about multiplying of course - but you're using +adders on the picture, believe me ... but thanks to this I've noticed there actually was a little zipping noise in the panning, I just uploaded a new version

Ack.. My understanding of this is if the output multiplied by a constant with a value lesser than zero will serve as a kind of limiter that would prevent output clipping. The context I was instructed under was indeed a different instrument, so I can only assume you're correct. That's what I get for making silly suggestions to those who exceed me.. Cheers.

Donavan, you're adding dc offset which should rather make things worse ... ( actually theres a dc blocker inside the macro just to prevent this ..) I guess ew's tip was really meant for a different time and place ... no ?

My Mulzer, Far be it from me to point out any of flaws under your delightful works. Instead, I will share a cheap and dirty fix that ewistrand generously taught me that you may or may not be interested in for yourself. Please see my attached screenshot and my deepest gratitude for all the years of delightful works you've blessed us all with. Thanks so much, D ps here's the image: http://vaesolis.org/reaktor/gui/altrenative-routing.jpg I hope it helps, although its too remedial to have any substantial value, Regardless, your works have been my pleasure, and I thank you for that. Cheers, Donovan/Sickle

well, "thanks" of course, not "hanks"

hanks for nice comments Donovan, I think the output level is too high on some snaps so it's clipping ? you could try to change the output and drive knobs range, maybe this helps ?

This is extremely impressive on all fronts. However, I'm plagued with crackles and pops on a dual 3800ghz AMD machine..
