NAVIGATE THE BROWSER
The Browser section is where you will search for your sounds and effects. It is divided into different categories that will help you refine your searching criteria; Instruments, Types, Modes and Presets.

PUSH THE ENCODER LEFT-RIGHT
Push the Encoder left and right to move through the different categories. If you want to skip a category when browsing, push the Encoder to the right.
PRESS THE ENCODER
Press the Encoder to select All tags (as seen on the hardware display) and move on to the next category.
TURN THE ENCODER TO BROWSE
Turn the Encoder left and right to browse the tags in each category.
LOAD A PRESET
Press the Encoder to load a preset when in the Results List.
STEPPING THROUGH PRESETS
If you want to change the preset you loaded, no problem! You can quickly load another.
Press the PRESET buttons to step through the presets that match the current set of tags you selected.

FAVORITING PRESETS
When you find a preset you really like, press SHIFT + press the Encoder to mark it as a favorite and quickly find it in the future.
FINDING FAVORITE PRESETS
To call up presets you’ve marked as favorites, press SHIFT + BROWSER. Scroll through the list by turning the Encoder, then press it to load.
SAVING PRESETS
Once you’ve adjusted a preset to your liking, don’t forget to save it. In the File menu, click Save. Once saved the preset will appear in your User Library and also become available to MASCHINE after you rescan its library.
LOADING YOUR OWN PRESETS
The Browser provides access to two libraries, the default factory presets, and your User Library. To switch between the two libraries, press BROWSER, then M to select the Factory Library, or S to select your User Library.
