Our Artist Board is made up of exceptional musicians, producers, and engineers who possess deep knowledge of our products. They shed light on creative challenges in the music industry while providing feedback on future features and products.

Alicia Keys

Ann Mincieli

Engineer, mixer


Over the past 20+ years, Ann Mincieli has established herself as one of the leading engineers and industry figures in music. A 3-time GRAMMY Award winner and owner of NYC’s Jungle City Studios, Mincieli has worked with some of music’s biggest acts including Mariah Carey, Jay-Z, and Alicia Keys, with whom she formed the She Is the Music (SITM) initiative, dedicated to creating change for women and building an equal future for music.

EL-P

Rapper, producer, composer, performer


One of the most accomplished independent rappers and producers of all time, EL-P has gone from underground sensation with his first group, Company Flow, to launching a celebrated solo career, to attaining worldwide acclaim with Killer Mike as rap super duo Run the Jewels. GRAMMY Award-nominated, Gold-certified, and deeply respected by peers and fans alike, he consistently strikes a vital nerve in the world of music and beyond.

Jacob Collier

Musician, producer, composer


A 5-time GRAMMY Award winner at 27 (and the first British artist to win a GRAMMY for each of his first four albums), Jacob Collier is already one of the most respected and sought-after musicians of his generation. Ludwig Göransson has excelled in both the recording and motion picture industries, earning an Academy Award for Best Original Score for Black Panther, two Emmy Awards for his score to The Mandalorian, and multiple GRAMMY Awards, including two wins for his work on This is America with Childish Gambino. Göransson also co-wrote and produced multiple songs on Adele’s 30, which was the best-selling album of 2021 worldwide.

Noah “40” Shebib

Producer, engineer, songwriter


Noah “40” Shebib is the two-time GRAMMY Award-winning producer behind the sound of Drake’s innovative productions. Alongside Drake and Oliver El-Khatib, he’s a co-founder of OVO Sound – the label that launched Drake’s career. His expertise can also be heard on tracks from artists such as Beyoncé, Lil Wayne, Action Bronson, and Jamie Foxx.

GRAMMY-nominated David Biral and Denzel Baptiste have left their mark on nearly every genre, working alongside some of the biggest stars of the last decade. Their collaborators include Kid Cudi, James Blake, Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson, Miley Cyrus, Kane Brown, H.E.R., and international stars like Flohio, Santi, and NSG. In 2021, David and Denzel executive produced multi-platinum star Lil Nas X’s debut album, MONTERO, garnering the duo’s second and third Billboard No. 1 singles.

Young Guru is a GRAMMY Award-winning engineer, accomplished record executive (with Rock-A-Fella and Def Jam), and DJ (with JAY-Z and Alicia Keys). Labeled "the most famous and successful engineer in the history of hip-hop” by the Wall St Journal, he's been a major part of several artists' careers including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Ludacris, Ghostface Killah, Redman & Method Man, Mariah Carey, and Talib Kweli.

Dave Godowsky (Board Director)

Head of Artist & Industry Relations, Native Instruments


Dave Godowsky brings 20 years of music industry experience to his role at Native Instruments, primarily in Artist Management and A&R, where he worked with a diverse array of artists, including Against Me!, Alison Krauss, Nathaniel Rateliff, Phish, and Ween. At Native Instruments, he serves as a bridge to the world's most prominent musicians, songwriters, producers, and engineers, ensuring mutual respect and trust between the company and the artist community at large.
As we continue to learn from and collaborate with these invaluable advisors, we’ll define new ways of working that ensure Native Instruments fosters an inclusive and welcoming community for all creators.
