Creating a new track
Before you can load Kontakt, create a new instrument or MIDI track in your DAW.
Loading the Kontakt plugin
Load the Kontakt instrument plugin into your new instrument or MIDI track.
Activating recording in your new track
Enable recording for the Kontakt track, and make sure it receives a MIDI signal from your keyboard. Alternatively, if you don’t have a keyboard, create a MIDI clip that you can use to play Kontakt by entering notes on-screen.
