A low-dynamic, ultra-close palette of choral and string textures
Strings, Renaissance choirs, and analog vocoders
Made by the creative studios of composer Max Richter (Hamnet, Ad Astra)
A scoring palette full of tenderness and humanity
At the heart of ASMR Choir is a specialist Renaissance ensemble featuring soprano Grace Davidson, the acclaimed soloist from Max Richter’s SLEEP. This choir is paired with an intimate section of solo violin and cello, recorded both independently and in situ to capture a delicate, visceral color. These organic performances also serve as the foundation for a fourth "processed" instrument, reshaped through analog vocoders. The result is a sophisticated, four-part toolkit that delivers the perfect breathy atmosphere for modern composition.
