Invented as part of his process writing the soundtrack for Broadchurch, Arnalds wanted to generate more textural possibilities without hiring out a full studio. The results are deeply moving strings that captivate, beguile, and haunt the listener, giving KONTAKT composers an instant creative edge. Recorded in Berlin’s Voxton studios with a variety of microphones, pre-amps and outboards, Arnalds’ approach to recording captures a huge range of human emotion.
