DESCRIPTION

Hello from outer space.

Metaverb Sunspot has been fixed.
Axis 2 now has a "boost" parameter.

Nine new Blocks have been added.

Four are variations of the Bento VCA. Each has a unique parameter, including crossfading, coloring, panning, and clipping.

Another Bento modification adds a mixer to the SVF filter.

Lapetus is a dual osc with an LFO, wave folding, and a sub osc.

Skippy Looper is an effect that is named after my dog.

X/Y Osc is a version of Cyan Osc that adds a useful scope.

A new version of the Poddig Osc has been added, using his latest DPW design, featuring oversampling and symmetry.

(Dual DPW is the only sound source for the demo track.)

Skinny Looper reminds me to the comic strip dog Snoopy from the Peanuts. 8D=

At center position the signal is completely unfiltered, functionality is the same as the normal Bento VCA. Thanks for checking them out.

The dog is funny :-)

In the VCA+Color, it seems we have a weak level, even in center position. May be raise the process/amp value ? Or is it your will ?

Some really cool and creative ideas in here, thank you! Like putting ring mod on a reverb - a nice trick I will probably use from time to time now.

Hello Brett! The value of your work is simply beyond words! So I give a shit on further laudatory bla and better visit paypal as soon as my modest monthly salary comes in. Promised! One more thing: The demo track is not only tonally but also musically very persuasive and inspired me immediately to create some own buzzes and plopps. Maybe I´ll post a link to the tune here... Thanks again for all the benefactions you bestow on us blockheads...;-)

I liked the clean look. It wasn't intentional, but I don't mind the association. Music is the world's best weapon against hate. Use it well and often, especially in hard times! And I hope these come in handy when you do!

I'm glad you like them! Coincidentally, I've already tried that combination! Neon is really great, by the way!

Spacewalker's Companion and Binaural Space are fantastic for running through two instances of my Neon filter! So many great soundscapes! :)

Hi Darren, thanks very much for your kind words. The demo track was made with the test ensemble Path Test 1. It is multiple recordings stitched back to back, not one performance. Have fun!

Just getting into Reaktor and this is the best blocks I have found yet. What patch/ens is used for the demo? I can't seem to find it.

I've gotten better at implementing the Diode as an effect, so I updated the original that was in the Wavedraw Oscillator. In the new blocks I tried really hard to balance volume levels, and I think I did a good job in the end. Please let me know what you think about them, and if you have any suggestions for improvements to these, or any of my blocks.

The Linear Congruential is a "rudimentary" type of number generator, so it's a little more predictable than the other styles of chaos. But although it is not exactly suitable for modern encryption, it certainly works for musical means. I hope you like it!

Nice! Thanks for the convenient pack! If you're interested, my Diode macro was taken from this line in the Mutable Instruments' Warps DSP: https://github.com/pichenettes/eurorack/blob/fa31019560946d094e2bf5d97445b203bb5ebeb6/warps/dsp/modulator.cc#L347 I recommend taking a look at the original paper as well. I tweaked the numbers so that Squid Axon would behave more like the videos I watched on it. There's another instance of that macro in my Ring Modulator effect, but I think it has different numbers from the Squid.
