DESCRIPTION

UNIVERSITY PROJECT: I'M LOOKING FOR FEEDBACK AND BETA TESTERS

Equipped with virtual vintage effects, 16-step sequencer, analogue drift, variable state filters, Bit Crush and a host of waveforms, The Mountain is the peak of retro inspired synthesis. This synth gives you the tools to craft sonic memories using the Retro module, stacked with cassette, vinyl and game noise before additional tonal sculpting with the four-band parametric EQ. If you’re a beginner learn the ropes with over 40 pre-set configurations spanning Bass, Lead, Poly, Pad and Sequenced patches to speed up the creative process. Built on the Native Instruments Reaktor engine, The Mountain can be seen from Ableton, Logic, Cubase, Pro Tools and a multitude of other DAWs.

Signal Path: SEQ > Drift > Oscillators 1, 2, Sub and Noise > Mix > LFO > VCF > VCA > EQ > Drive > Crush > Flange > Width > Chorus > Delay.

Hi teecee, I found the ensemble just needs resaving after you locate the samples, when you next open it, it should automatically locate them - Hope this helps!

Thanks Peter - is there a method to tell The Mountain where to look, so that Reaktor does not prompt me every time I open a project that uses your synth?

Hi teecee, Included with the ZIP file their is a folder named 'The Mountain Samples', simply select that folder as Reaktor prompts you and the Retro should work perfectly. Thanks for the feedback!

very nice indeed - retro and perfect for 80s/90s house and techno - only issue I have is that it keeps asking me to locate samples... where should I save the sample set to? Excellent VST!

Thanks for the comments everyone I really appreciate the feedback. Hi e g, the ensemble was made on 5.9.4, but I believe it also opens on 5.9.2 as well. I hope this helps!

I have Reaktor 5.8.0 (R550) and it says it was done with a newer version, and crashes. Exactly what version it is? Thx!

- UI looks ok, but perhaps bit too all-bright, especially panel under effects. - Effects bit thin, especially "Flanger" and "Game feedback" (=feedback goes under same filter as pad sound) - something weird with SEQ, there are noises when gates used. Very Reaktorish small glitch (can be heard with phones, I found it with 036 Padular).

Rolling through Neon Dreams. This synth will throw you back in the past with neglect for the future. 5/5
