MicroTuner
Simple block for microtuning
DESCRIPTION
This is a simple block for microtuning.
This block has 3 knobs. The top left one selects how many equal parts you are going to divide the interval with.
The top right one selects how big the interval is, 2 is an octave, 3 is 3 times the root note, 4 is 2 octaves, 8 is 3 octaves, etc.
The bottom one selects which root note you are using. The root note is the note where the scale starts from and thus gets unaffected.
It has a counter to show you which midi note you are currently playing, and a counter which shows which frequency that note has.
60 is a middle C, 61 is a C#, 62 a D etc.
The default setting of this block is 12ED2 with root note 60 (Middle C, C5). This means that one octave is divided by 12 equal parts.
If you want to use the Bohlen-Pierce scale, use 13ED3 and put the root note on 69 (A5, 440Hz)
Front panel patching is only available in Reaktor 6.4.
I used this forum post to figure it out:
