This thing is freakin awesome. Sounds like someone set a synth on fire and continued to play it as it was dying.

Crackling static noises is what that knob is for. Glad to hear it's working :)

Felix, Philippe.. thank you very much! mosaic_... Your words made my day. It's excactly what I'm aiming at - evoking moods. In the "real" world, actual instruments of quality are appealing to the eye and more or less beg you to play them. I believe the visual experience is really important for setting a mood, and that setting a mood is really important for creating interesting music. We need to get inspired somehow, even if the instrument is a computer. Under the hood is nothing complicated, but I do pursue a degree of randomness.. supposedly that and slight disharmonics and detuning increases attention and triggers more alertness on a neurological level, and thus enhances the listening experience. Yours humbly...

Is it the panel design? The snapshot selection? The underlying sound engine? Whatever it is, your uploads produce such a powerful mood in me, in a way few instruments do... really great stuff.
