DESCRIPTION

Hi all, after watching a demo of Moogs new Subharmonic synth and being impressed by its sound here is my basic version for you all to play with and give some feedback before I finalize it graphically, tell me your likes dislike and I will try to improve if possible. Cheers Glyn.

Hi all,

this is Version 0.4, fixed Midi out I hope plus the reset which can be switched of for Osc2 to allow a slightly different pattern and should sound a bit better as I had the fine control for the Oscillators set wrong. No Instrument this time, include in the next version. I have checked the shuffle feature in what is the standard blocks clock and it seems to have a very small amount of functionality, maybe someone could enlighten me on this one.

I just noticed the reset in the standard Clock Block was not snapshotting the settings for the Reset time amount so I have repaired that so it is memorised in your saved snapshots. Cheers Glyn.

Hi Paule and Drew, Midi pitch out is fixed but a way I got it to work, I am not as advance as builder you and others on here Paule, I just muck about and if it works for me then I have to leave it at that as Math is not my strong point. Drew the clocks speed can be changed in the clock divider for both VCO`s and all four Subs by dragging the divider number in the relevent display box if that helps.It will not have much more apart from graphics as I said earlier I am not very good at this, I just make things that fill a hole in my needs but if you or anyone else want to implement this then please feel free to change modify this and repost, after all this is what Reaktor does best for all of us. You add 48 to pitch midi out. More versatile it is add some of the pitch outs instead of merge and the set the |x| rectifier to avoid neg values.

Thanks for doing this! Good start but need a few more things to closer emulate the Moog. Hopefully you get the scales included as well as subharmonics. It seems like it has just Harmonics. Each sequence needs multiple divider to feed into a combiner. Maybe have two dividers one for each sequence? 4 could be for the main sequence and 2 could be for the Subharmonic sequences? That's what I would like to see if going for the moog. But certainly lots of fun already.

You merged 3 gates on seq 2. --- For MIDI Out you can merge all pitches and on the other hand merge all gates!?!

My using of this standrad Clock Block in p.e. pandoro or Octaudio works fine with shuffle.

The shuffle in Clock has no function on gate. Can you repair this, please?

Hi Paul and Richard, thanks for your feedback, midi out and reset will be sorted, as to the modulation matrix, that’s a future addition for sure with hopefully blocks cable functionality. Cheers Glyn.

My request would be that it has a modulation matrix on the right or left that can have parameter selections assigned via IC sends. So far, I think this is a really great start. Thank you for your contribution.

In the pitch line to MIDI Out are negative values. Use a rectifier (|x|) to avoid them, please. Midi pitch values range is 0 .. 127
